Disabled Veteran left without Insurance for 4 Years due to Case Backlog

A disabled veteran applied for Social Security Disability Insurance in 2003, and was denied. Because of the massive backlog at the Buffalo hearing office, he did not get his first appeals hearing until July 2006. That whole time, he was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, a traumatic brain injury, degenerative disc disease ...

Duly Consider: Those who decided the government should be run like a business should be proud. They now collect taxes and provide fewer services. The one's they do provide are done so grudgingly, and they still put us in higher cumulative debt than any administration in history. Now, that's business!
